4 Minutes in the Life of a Landscape Cont..
This is the shot taken just four minutes after the first. You can see that, in this short space of time, the landscape has been transformed by the change in the light.
It is important to note that neither one of these photographs is the "right" photograph. Both will appeal to people for different reasons. The majority of people may favor the deep golden tones of the second. Others will appreciate the subtlety and simplified palette of the first. There is no right and wrong light, all we can try and do is match the lighting conditions to the subject matter to create the mood that we want to communicate.
