The Atlantic sea swells of the Irish coastline have always inspired me. This portfolio is a time based study of the perpertual movements and flows of the ocean. Long exposures photography can often render the sea a surreal uniform mist. My aim with this portfolio was to create a series of medium length exposures (1/6th sec to 2sec) which were individually chosen to maintain the shape, form and direction of the sea flows. I hope that you can feel the energy and life of the ocean through these photographs and perhaps almost "hear" the chatter of pebbles in the outwash as you view them.
