Dunkerry Cave is on the Runkerry headland, just west of the Giant's Causeway. It is almost certainly the biggest sea cave in all of Ireland. Access is from the sea only and the headland is notorious for its heavy sea swell. On the 21st of June 2008, aided by a superb climber by the name of Iain Miller, we entered the great cave. I was able to get out of the dinghy and climb 8 feet up on to a ledge to take this photograph. I believe this is the first photograph ever taken of this fantastic cavern.
