Bushfoot Strand

Bushfoot Strand starts just east of Portballintrae where the Bush River meets the sea. It is flanked by an extensive dune system. At the eastern end of the stand is the impressive sandstone Runkerry House which was built in the 1860's by Sir Edward Macnaghten.
