Boyeeghter Bay is one of the most secluded and beautiful bays to be found in Donegal. It is located in the northwest corner of Melmore Head on the Rosguill peninsula. The bay features two beautiful strands which join together when the tide goes out. In the middle of the bay stands a small island known as Rough island which only becomes an island at the highest tide. It can easly be climbed to superb vantage point of the whole bay. The bay also has a more sinister name, 'The Murder Hole'.
