On a small hillock in the centre of Murlough Bay are the old ruins of Drumnakill Church. This was once the Church of Saint Mologe and dates back to early Christian times. All that remain now are the wallsteads and original altar base at the East end. This has recently been painted white and appears to still be used to place offerings. The church has a magnificent aspect looking over to Scotland's Mull of Kintyre.
